Here's a two-fer....The first is another shot at Mom and McK.....
I'm going to keep on trying to draw my wife right...This would be strike two.....
I started adding pencil to the blue line on the train home tonight, then
stopped because I thought it looked too heavy....totally looks weird now....
another one bites the dust....
The second sketch is of former Yankees relief pitcher Joba Chamberlain who will start the first game of his major league career tomorrow night...maybe this will bring the team some much needed luck...C'mon Yanks! Snap Outta It!

Joba! I knew it was him soon as I saw it...I guess, though, that good luck didn't come thru...but the drawing looks great! I think the pencil on top of the blue line in the Kenna/Michelle sketch looks ok in the thumbnail....not too bad in the larger one..maybe if you finished it it'd look all right....but hey, nothing wrong with trying something new every now and then.
I just don't know how you can draw on the train! My friend Dan (the Caricature King) said he saw an artist on the train inking a page of comic art...standing up!! That boggles my mind. I can't write my name on a moving train.
See, I though Joba was lumped in as another girl of Summer.
