Introducing: GlennySketch!

"I'm going to a town that has already been burnt down.
I'm going to a place that has already been disgraced.
I gonna see some folks who have already been let down-
I'm so tired of you America."- Rufus Wainwright

Guys- I've got nuthin'....Creative Frickin' Dearth here....
I figured I'd post a sketch my daughter did of me because turnabout
is fair play. She busted this out on the back of a grocery list while I was wheeling
her around the market on Father's Day weekend...I think it's a fair resemblance-
she nailed my comb-over perfectly! I'm singing into a microphone some song from
the Disney High School Musical soundtrack and rocking a Lucky Brand T-shirt and
a Swiss Army watch... apparently, I go for groceries in style.
She's all about the details, this one....
I've got a much-needed week-off next week and have relatives coming in for some
chill time so with luck, I'll have recharged enough to create something to justify this
flea-bitten website! Peacesh!

Man, I got excited when I saw the title of the post..then wondered, "Is another drawing posted under this one? One where Glenn takes the drawing his daughter did, then 'renders' it in his style and it becomes a daughter/father collabo?? Much the same way that Dave DeVries takes a kids drawing of a monster and then renders it in his style but it still retains the flavor of the kids drawing...?"...Alas, but no such joy (not to say the original drawing didn't have it's own particular charm, all on its lonesome)...

Well, maybe the time off will do you good...and revive those dried out creative juices. Here's hoping! We need you out here in blogsville, fighting the good fight, Glenny 'O Glenn...!!

GLENN MY BOY! GOOD TO HAVE YA BACK... even if it's you piggy backing on your daughter's artwork!

i'll have to take you on your word on the accuracy of your youngling's artwork as i refuse to believe that a bonafide playa like yosef is rockin the combover! say it ain't so...

i know what those art funk/coma's are like. just ride it out and before ya know it you'll be back on that creative saddle!

and also...happy belated father's day to you!

So if I knew you were getting the week off, I might have tried to rally and get the dogs boarded and get my a$$ on a plane. I'm off too. Except that I have two meetings on Monday.

Take good care of my Rachel.

And if you want to hop on a plane, I'll pick you up in Sac or Oaktown.

By the way - two months to the day, Glenn. Next time you're taking a crap, bring a pencil and scribble something on the TP. At least it will be something.

Your daughters drawing is great, she'll have to have a blog of her own soon enough!

Have a great week off, well deserved!
I'm writing from the UK.

I thought I'd help Glenn out here while he is tied up doing whatever the hell is taking up all of his time these days.

Hi Glenny:

I've been crazy busy lately, stopped by here to see if I could get some new ink from the frogmeister.
