Hey lads & lasses..Ol' Blue Eyes is back! Here's a new KennaSketch
for you to enjoy. I'm so amazed at how fast she's growing....
Doesn't she look like a 'tween? (that, by the way, is what
advertisers are calling kids be"tween" the ages of 8 and 12...too old to be an infant-too young to be a teenager...they actually created a demographic to sell shit to....bastards!)
Remember when a kid was just a kid? Jeez Louise!
Anyway, I know I dropped a tease about a month ago about some big
personal news for myself, and now, I can reveal that I gave notice at my job!
I will be working for the new Sears/KMart design studios that just opened
in lower Manhattan! Huzzah!
No more working for the middle man!
No more input from creatively bankrupt salespeople!
I'll be creating artwork directly for the retailer!
I'm so stoked at this wonderful opportunity!
I've had a great run at my job (between a three year hiatus, I've been there
close to 8 years) but I had obviously hit my ceiling both financially and
professionally. They still throw a mean Christmas Party though....sigh!
I'll miss it, and my mates who've become like an extended family to me.
I'll keep you posted on my new adventures in corporate America!

I'm gonna miss you soooo much! I'm really happy for you, but it's just not going to be the same. I'll be messed up for a while without your visits, which allow my work days to be more pleasant.
Three years worth of working together, ugh! Three years, gosh. It's been so great, getting to know you more, growing as friends and co-workers.
You're very talented, I admire the fact that you don't settle and always search for the proper situation without settling for long. Congratulations Glenn! I see a lot of positive happenings coming your way!

Before you say no again - The hot tub arrives next week. Bullfrog 662 - with lights, six seats, jet paks with I don't even know how many jets, all under the stars with a view of the lake right next to the Tiki Lounge.

Great sketch. Rachel used that "Tween" word about Kenna a few sketches back. What I can't believe is how so much of the "Tween" clothing is slutty Shitney Beers looking trampware. There are 9 year old girls around with their bellies showing and something written across their ass.
Please, in your new position of power, do something about this. Even if you have to bring back the fucking Care Bears.
I miss you my friend. And Pennsylvania is still on the horizon. Every week it is going to be kicking off next week. Kind of like Daffy Duck hosting the Bugs Bunny Road Runner Hour and Bugs telling him, next week was this week last week and this week next week is next week this week. And I wander off like Daffy, muttering to myself.
But what's nice is that the more it pushes, the more likely we will be able to bring the fam out. Jake's last day of school is the 16th or so.
Oh, and I finally got around to an update on my blog.
Oh, and I just saw an ad for that new Jack Black movie. Is that where you got that picture? How did you know about it so far ahead of me?
